"Well Behaved Women Rarely Ever Make History"
My nana had leukemia two years ago and survived. Before that she suffered from osteoporosis, diabetes, and a hump back. She spent all her life traveling with my grandfather to every single country. She was and still is obsessed with elephants. I love all my grandparents but my nana has literally favored me and has worked her dramatic, but sincere ass off to please and support me. There’s so much I owe her and now I’ll never be able to repay her because she has brain and eye cancer and is unable to withstand the necessary treatment, so… instead, she’s not taking any. She’s beyond aware that her time has a number on it and she’s doing her best to accept it.
So I want to get this tattoo, because it’s perfect. It’s her favorite animal, which I find to be beautiful anyway, and has some cultural designs to it that will forever remind me of my nana and her strong passion for travel and all the support she gave me.
Any thoughts, I’d love them(:
